Guneet Josen Immigration Attorney

Guneet Josen is an associate Immigration Attorney with Jarecki Law Group. He primarily represents clients in employment-related immigration matters. Having gone through the immigration process with his own parents, Guneet strives to bring a sense of empathy and kindness to a process that can otherwise be very overwhelming.

During law school, Guneet interned at a small immigration firm, assisting with both asylum applications, as well as various types of employment-based visas. Guneet also spent a semester as an intern at the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Disability Rights Section, where he worked on issues surrounding discrimination based on disability, including HIV-based discrimination. Following this, Guneet was a legal fellow at Human Rights Campaign, where he helped tackle issues concerning the intersectionality of race, gender, and sexual orientation. In addition, as a student, Guneet worked at the University of Connecticut School of Law’s Asylum and Human Rights Clinic. After law school, Guneet clerked for the trial-level courts in Connecticut, where he assisted judges on a variety of novel issues. Guneet currently practices immigration law in Chicago.
